ECOPO Camaro 700-HP failed to sell for one reason

Even with this electrification, the Camaro eCOPO retains the usual T400 transmission, transmission and suspension of the COPO Camaro. Hancock and Lane Racing co-developed the car with Chevrolet and chose to sell it, or at least try to sell it. So the question is: why did not that sell? Was it too expensive? Not really, since it is a unique technology with advanced electrification technology and incredibly fast performance.

The likely reason is as follows: the world of drag racing is not ready for electric vehicles, regardless of their speed and power. Heck, the entire pony car community may not be too enthusiastic for electrification. Honestly, it is hard to fault them for considering that the Camaro eCOPO, despite its looks and performance, does not look like a typical V8 dragster driver. It looks more like a powerful vacuum cleaner.
