Sao Paulo, July 8.- Judge João Gebran Neto, instructor of the Lava Jato case in a court of second instance, today revoked the order "Immediate" release of Luiz Inacio Lula da Silva dictated by another magistrate and decided to keep the former Brazilian president in prison.

Gebran Neto is one of three judges who make up the eighth chamber of the Regional Court of the Fourth Region of Porto Alegre, a court that sentenced Lula in second instance to 12 years and a month for pbadive bribery and money laundering.

The magistrate contradicted the decision taken a few hours earlier by Federal Judge Rogerio Favreto, also a second instance, who granted Lula this Sunday a "habeas corpus" by deputies of the Workers' Party (PT), a training led by the former president. EFE
