The group of former English footballer David Beckham has released a video showing the localization project of the football stadium that he is looking to build in Miami for his franchise MLS.
Located in the area of the Melreese Country Club golf course and in front of the train station, the complex would also include the 25 thousand-seat stadium, a villa with training camps, restaurants, hotels, shops and offices.
More brothers, son of the Cuban exile Jorge Más Canosa, Beckham's partners were in charge of publishing the video Sunday.
The bill will be presented Thursday at the Miami City Commission so that commissioners approve a referendum in November and that voters decide they want to rent the Melreese Country Club to Beckham's group.
If the project were approved, Beckham's dream would begin to materialize. The league put it as a condition to build a stadium to have a franchise and this has been the major hurdle since he launched his plan to have a team in that city in February 2014.
