The Peruvian Claudio Pizarro will return next season to Werder Bremen, the team that brought him to Europe and with whom he signed for the fifth time.
Pizarro, 39, returns to Bremen after being in the final season in Cologne, a team with which he did not have many minutes because of injuries and who fell at the end of the season.
"In the last few weeks we have spoken with Claudio and he, like us, has expressed the wish that the Weser Stadion can finish his career," says Bremen Sports Director Frank Baumann.
"I am very happy to have one more chance, i want to finish my career in the club with which he started .my journey through europe, "said the player.
