Luis Chiriboga, former president of the Ecuadorian football federation linked to FIFA Gate, has benefited from a reduced sentence this afternoon during the hearing of cbadation in the National Court of Justice in Quito
The former president did not appear in the courtroom, but his lawyers were able to reduce his sentence from 10 to six years (of which he has already served almost three).
It is also known that he will not visit a common detention center as his lawyers have indicated
Chiriboga was sentenced in 2015 to 10 years for money laundering in the midst of the world-known business under the name of FIFA Gate
