Of the total number of victims identified, five are minors and eight of them are women.

The 10 people were on the missing list in the community of San Miguel Los Lotes, in the southern department of Escuintla, the most affected by the eruption, according to Efe oticias agency .

On June 3, Fuego volcano, 3763 meters high and located 35 km southwest of Guatemala City, recorded a powerful eruption followed by an avalanche of pyroclastic flows. San Miguel Los Lotes and neighboring villages affected.
