The New York Attorney's Office has asked Judge Brian Cogan to punish the accused's defense for drug trafficking Joaquín "El Chapo" Guzmán for his alleged use forbids his wife to use a cell phone at the New York courthouse, where the lawsuit is held.

Earlier this month, Cogan had already rejected the request of Guzman's lawyers, who had already led two escapes in Mexican jails, to give the colonel a brief hug before the trial began.
