The top two world rankings, Spain's Rafael Nadal and Switzerland's Roger Federer, qualified for the quarter-finals at Wimbledon after defeating Czech Jiri Vesely and Frenchman Adrian Mannarino

Nadal will play the Wimbledon quarterfinals for the first time since 2011, after defeating Jiri Vesely, 93rd in the world, in three sets (6-3, 6-3, 6-4).

The last time the Spaniard reached this round at Wimbledon, he managed to reach the final, which fell to Serbian Novak Djokovic. Nadal, who aspires to his third title at the Grand Slam of London, will face a pbad in the semifinal with Argentine Juan Martin Del Potro or the French Gilles Simon, whose duel was postponed for lack of light.

Del Potro (4th in the world), took the first two sets before Gaul (53rd) cut the differences (7-6 (7/1), 7-6 (7/5), 5-7 ).

Milos Raonic, seeded number 13, he's qualified for the quarter-finals by beating the American Mackenzie McDonald 6-3, 6-4, 6-7 (5/7), 6 -2. His rival in the quarter will be American John Isner, who reached the quarterfinals of Wimbledon for the first time in his career during his tenth participation. Isner defeated the young Greek Stefanos Tsitsipas.
