The social network Twitter announced yesterday that it will stop counting as followers accounts that are frozen, so some profiles might see their number of followers reduced from today. Frozen accounts are those whose activity is restricted because their behavior was suspicious and Twitter asked its owner to validate its authenticity and reset its pbadwords.

The blocked accounts will not be deleted, so their owner can activate it again.
