At least three hunters pursuing a group of rhinoceros were eaten by lions in a private reserve of animals in On Southeast of South Africa, reported the owner of the reserve on Thursday.
Armed with a rifle and an ax, the hunters entered the Sibuya reserve early Monday morning. The next day, they found them dead, with their bodies mutilated told AFP Nick Fox
"They found themselves in the middle of a pack of lions, a large group apparently, and they were naked. Had not much time to react, "says the owner of the reserve
" We do not know how much was left (the hunters), there is not much left, "added Nick Fox, who acknowledged "we found the clothes of three people".
Thousands of rhinos die each year in Africa, mainly because of their horns, highly appreciated by the followers of traditional Chinese and Vietnamese medicine
On the African continent, there are 5000 rhinoceroses black, 1900 of them in South Africa.
