President Lenina Moreno delivered Thursday 1,400 social housing units built under the government mission "House for all", in different jurisdictions of the country, in an act celebrated in the province of Imbabura.

The houses were built in the coastal provinces of Manabí and Esmeraldas, as well as in the Andean region Cotopaxi, Pichincha and Imbabura and they were built on the model of the community, according to a statement issued by the National Secretariat of Communications (Secom).

In the act of delivery, Moreno and the chairman of the interinstitutional committee of the "Toda Una Vida" plan, Rocío González, wife of the president, and took place in an urbanization of Atuntaqui, population of the township Antonio Ante, in Imbabura.

The head of state explained that one of the pillars of this plan is the creation of a community and not just housing. "The greatest satisfaction we can have is knowing that we are helping to strengthen the family unit," he said.

And he remembered his campaign offer to deliver 325,000 homes during his administration.

"The goal is great, they have never been realized 50,000 houses in Ecuador and we are offering 325,000 and we are going to do it. We must achieve this, at least we must get closer to the figure, "said the president.

Secom's statement states that until the end of 2018, thousands of additional homes will be delivered and 82,000 for each of the next two years.

Moreno stressed that housing construction generated more than 9,000 jobs and by doing a relationship at the national level he said that the increase of 14,000 new affiliations at the Social Security Institute badumes that "these citizens have a stable job".
