LSU head coach Ed Orgeron confirmed to reporters on Monday that the Tigers did not have air conditioning in the locker room on Saturday for their match against Texas.
Orgeron said he had called Louisiana Tech, the first week's opponent of Texas, before the game and that, in anticipation, his team had brought in additional fans.
According to official statistics, the game temperature was 98 degrees.

They will do more infusions at half-time to prevent this from happening again.

Many of LSU's defensive players suffered cramps and other injuries in Saturday's Tigers victory. At the end of the match, Longhorns' fans could hear injuries, suspecting players to pretend to try to slow Texas play.
LSU players who missed at least part of the match due to injury: safety Grant Delpit (return), defensive lineman Rashard Lawrence (not returned), linebacker Michael Divinity (return) and defensive back Kristian Fulton (return).
