Eddie Money revealed that he was currently battling stage 3 esophageal cancer. The rocker – who canceled the dates of his summer tour after an operation at a heart valve – discussed the diagnosis in a new clip of his TV series AXS Real money.

The episode of Real money detailing Money's battle against cancer will air on Sept. 12 on AXS TV. The singer was diagnosed last fall while filming the second season of the series, which will now focus on Money's cancer and its impact on his family.
