News on the injury front has improved for the Atlanta Braves who may soon get another round of reinforcements for their roster. MLB.com’s Mark Bowman reported Thursday that injured outfielder Eddie Rosario is currently in St. Louis with the team and has been batting for the past two days. He is feeling well and could be ready to begin a rehabilitation mission as early as next week.

Rosario hasn’t played since July 5 when he suffered an abdominal injury while in Cleveland. The Braves acquired it in what amounted to a pay cut on the trade deadline. Once healthy, he’ll add another left-handed option with some power to the outfield and bench.

There was also good news on the pitching front. Ian Anderson will begin his own rehabilitation mission Thursday for Gwinnett. Huascar Ynoa is also expected to pitch for the Stripers on Friday.

Anderson was put on the injured list after the all-star break due to what has been called shoulder inflammation. He has started throwing again and has recently progressed to the mound throw. Ynoa began her drug rehab last Sunday in Rome.
