Blimey, 2020 has been a bit difficult, hasn’t it? A particularly exceptional year in human history is unlikely to be remembered, as a global pandemic effectively shut down the entire world. We’ve had to cut back on the things we love to do in order to protect people, and many of us will have lost loved ones to a virus that 12 months ago was not seen in enough as dramatic as a light.

2021 doesn’t seem to be that different – from where we are in the UK, a national lockdown has effectively been put in place which means we are entering the new year the same way we did. most of 2020 – but there’s still reason to be cheerful. The best boffins in the world have discovered a vaccine, and with fingers crossed, the New Years message we publish in 12 months will be a little more optimistic.

Anyway, enough of all this, let’s take the time to look forward to 2021. What new games do you think we’ll see? How will events like E3, Gamescom and PAX play out this year? Will Bayonetta 3 finally see the version, or are we just going to be told that “development is fine” again? How many additional employees will be hired by Retro to work Metroid Prime 4? The Cursed Switch Pro Actually come to fruition?

We’re not sure 2021 has the answers to all of these questions, but we would like to take this opportunity to wish you all a successful and enjoyable New Year – and thank you for making Nintendo Life the site it is today. hui. On that note, it’s worth pointing out that we had a banner year for traffic across the entire Nlife network – our sister sites Push Square and Pure Xbox had their biggest years, and the three sites totaled 361,424,293. pageviews over the last 12 months – so 2020 was not all bad, we guess.
