Edwin Encarnacion has only recently returned from the injury list, but he left the Yankees-Tigers game in the seventh inning. We do not know what the problem is. Encarnacion was happy to walk around during his previous trip to the plate. Mike Ford has replaced him as a designated hitter. Hopefully the removal of Encarnacion was nothing more than a precaution. We'll keep you posted when we know more.
