The opening ceremony was held at the Cinema of the Kingdom of Morocco in the city of Oran Northeast West of Algeria, and was presented by Algerian actors Hbadan Kachash and Sara for the label.

The director of the festival, Ibrahim Siddiqui, said in his opening address: "This year, Oran will present 38 films as part of the contest, workshops, seminars and presentations outside the competition. "

The festival was honored at the inauguration by artist Mohamed Henidi and director Khalid Youssef, in addition to Algerian director Farouq Beloufa and artist Shadia.

The festival will be held this year under the theme "Let's Live Together in Peace", thirty-three films in three short, short films and documentaries, which will be staggered until July 31 and will include four workshops. short films, screenwriters and visual effects.
