The International Carthage Festival announced Wednesday the program of the 54th session of the most prestigious Tunisian art festivals, and included a group of Arab and foreign singers, in addition to various musical and theatrical performances.
The new session of the festival will take place from July 13 to August 17 at the Roman archaeological theater of Carthage .
The director of the Carthage Festival, Mokhtar El-Raza, said today at a press conference: "The festival management has chosen various musical, musical, theatrical and cinematographic performances and has tried to maintain a satisfactory level. "
He added: "The artists participating in the new session of the festival are enjoying a large crowd in Tunisia, like Kazem El Saher, Majda Rumi and Amina Fakht."
The new session begins with a concert entitled (From Carthage to Seville) by the Tunisian music Mohamed El Aswad produced by the Carthage Festival and presents models of Tunisian, Algerian, Moroccan and Andalusian music .
The exhibition will be attended by artists Ziyad Gharsa, Darwaf Al-Hamdani of Tunisia, Abeer Al-Abed of Morocco, Abbas Al-Rigi of Algeria and Mary Marina of Spain .
The star of the Tunisian song Amina Fakht returns to the scene of Carthage after a long absence with the resumption of two concerts on July 21 and 24 .
The singer, who was very popular with various age groups, has long been out of the spotlight and has not participated in major art festivals since 2010. .
Lebanese star Marcel Khalife will be among the stars of the festival with his show on July 26, while the Iraqi ceremony will be held by Kazim El Saher on July 31 and Lebanese star Magda El Roumi on August 15 .
The festival hosts star Yousra Al Mahnoush, Hala Al Malki and Hbadan Al Dos of Tunisia and Lebanon Melhem Zein and Heba Touji of Egypt Abo and Yasmin Ali and Palestine Amal Morcos and Amir Dandan .
French singer-songwriter and composer Willie William and Kingji Gerak, the star of The Voice, host the French version and present to his audience the 100-voice musical show (Gusball 100) .
The festival program includes the presentation of "Hadra 3" for Sufi music by Tunisian director Fadel al-Jazairi, a Tunisian musical "Heritage" and a Chinese children's ballet and children's show, Benicchio, by Jean Jishou de France
The festival ends with a big show entitled "24 Perfume" of Tunisian music Mohammed Ali Kamoun .
