Morocco is preparing Wednesday to announce the discovery of 39, a new planet in partnership with the US NASA space agency.

Zuhair Benkhaldoun, director of the Observatory of Astronomy (OAKAIMDEN) of Kady Ayyad University in Marrakech West, said that the observatory had discovered a new small planet near the Earth.

A press conference is scheduled today to announce the discovery by the observatory.

For its part, NASA confirmed that it has a partnership relationship with the Moroccan Observatory, noting that it will be held today, a press conference to provide the details of the discovery.

It should be noted that the "Okaimeden" Observatory, opened in 2007, has already announced the discovery of 7 planets of the size of the planet in February 2017, confirmed by the American Space Agency, and suggested the possibility of life on these planets. .
