The fastest cure for the flu in men

A new study has revealed a scientific reason for the men's speed of healing from women's flu
Researchers from the Johns Hopkins School of Public Health have decided to study the different effects of influenza on men and women.

The study, published in the Journal of Sexuality Biology, suggests that women suffer more from the flu than men, has not yet been confirmed.

The team conducted the study by infecting live mice and human cells extracted from males with a lethal dose of H1N1 flu, a strain of influenza A that caused a global pandemic between 2009 and 2010 , 18 thousand people in the world

They suggest that male rats and human cells produce more amphiregulin, which plays a role in the repair and tissue development of the influenza strain.

Increased production of amphiregulin in male rats and in human cells would have cured the influenza strain more quickly

Professor Sabra Klein, badociate professor at Bloomberg College, believes that future treatments for influenza that promote the production of amphiregulin can be particularly beneficial for women.

One possible explanation is that high levels of testosterone in men.
