EJ Manuel, who was 16th overall in the 2013 NFL selection by the Buffalo Bills, has decided to retire.

In four seasons with the Bills, Manuel has started 17 games, registering a 6-11 record in his debut. With the retirement of Manuel, this means that seven players selected in the first round of the 2013 repêchage are no longer part of the league: Luke Joeckel (No. 2 overall, Jaguars), Dee Milliner (No. 9, Jets), Jarvis Jones (No. 1). 17, Steelers), Sharrif Floyd (No. 23, Vikings), Bjoern Werner (No. 24, Colts), Matt Elam (No. 32, Ravens).
