The New York International Auto Show opened today and we were on hand to see what electric vehicle manufacturers have brought to the ground.
The New York show is not very important for the first, but we've looked at some upcoming electric vehicles, as well as some electrical concepts. A world first was the special edition EQC 1886 of Mercedes-Benz – which you can check here.
Here are the other electric vehicles we saw on the ground:
Concept Kia HabaNiro
The concept of electric crossover HabaNiro (Niro, understood?) De Kia is funky and a bit chunky, with a bright red interior and butterfly doors. The crossover would have a range of over 300 km and a level 5 autonomous driving ability, but … it's a concept. We do not have known production projects, but for what it's worth, Kia's design manager, Kurt Kahl, pointed out to us that Kia has brought her concepts to life in the past.
Kia Niro EV
Kia's Niro EV was also present.
Concept Genesis Mint
Genesis has brought its concept Mint to the series – to learn more about the concept (and EV concepts in general), here is Jamie's article on the unveiling. Genesis has always announced its intention to introduce a separate electric vehicle for production with a new electric powertrain in 2021.
Hyundai Kona EV
Hyundai brought his Kona EV to the show.
Qiantu K50
A Qiantu executive said the K50 would be sold in North America in the first half of 2020 for $ 125,000 to $ 150,000, based on options. Mullen / Qiantu will initially sell 1,000 "Signature Series" cars, then 2,500 per year thereafter.
Volkswagen ID.BUGGY
VW's electric buggy concept was on the ground.
Rivian R1T
The R1T pickup truck attracted a lot of attention on the Rivian booth …

Audi e-tron
The Audi e-tron was at home before arriving on the US market next month.
Jaguar I-Pace
Jaguar's I-Pace was prominent in the Jaguar / Land Rover region.

The C_Two aka Concept_Two from Rimac settled among a number of high-priced hypercars.
Chevrolet Bolt
Chevy's Bolt was on the floor.
Nissan Leaf / Leaf Plus
Nissan had both Leaf and Leaf Plus on the show.
