Giants offensive coordinator Mike Shula said recently that he thought the first-round pick, Daniel Jones, could start the first game of the regular season if needed, but it does not look like the team will give him the chance to show his & # 39; to be the right choice in all circumstances.

The Giants held their first scheduled team event of the off-season Monday and head coach Pat Shurmur was asked about how the shift work was split. He said that Eli Manning would get the job of the first team while Jones would get "the majority" of work with the second and third teams.
