Eli Manning is used as the scapegoat of the giants: Shaun O 'Hara

Not everyone is excited about the Daniel Jones era. A former ex-giant believes that the franchise uses Eli Manning as a scapegoat to cover the many shortcomings of the team.

Shaun O'Hara, the former Big Blue center, tweeted his disappointment with the move. O'Hara spoke of the team's porous defense and wide receivers, insinuating that the Giants were looking for the wrong place to make the difference after a 0-2 start for the third straight season.

"So incredibly disappointed and frustrated by the giants right now," said O'Hara, now an analyst for NFL Network. "The defense gives 63 points in 2 games and the WR group is exhausted, but change our QB ??"

Manning and the offensive have scored 31 points since the start of the season. The 38-year-old completed 56 assists in 89 out of 556 yards for 556 yards, two touchdowns and two interceptions.

O'Hara, of course, is biased. He played for the Giants from 2004 to 2010 and won a Super Bowl with Manning in the lead. After the giants had announced this news, most people supported the move, convinced that it was time for Jones to gain experience and for Manning to become his replacement.

O'Hara was not in this majority.
