Tom Brady has a burning desire to win, and he usually does. But when he doesn’t win, it eats away at him.

Eli Manning knows this better than anyone. The Manning Giants played the Brady Patriots in two Super Bowls, and the Giants won both. Manning said Brady always talked to him about it and still worried about it.

“It’s one of those things, it’s not something that I say or think about a lot,” Manning told the New York Post. “I’ve been with Tom a few times, and I never mentioned a Super Bowl or our games against them. He actually talks about it. It still bothers him a bit, especially that of ’07 where they had the chance to become the greatest team of all time. But I don’t have the right to brag to Tom. It’s his 10th Super Bowl and I’m so impressed with his entire career. ”

Manning, 40, has been retired for a year, while Brady, 43, doesn’t look like it will stop. Manning is impressed with what Brady is doing.

“It’s really impressive what Tom has been able to do,” Manning said. “Just the fact, change teams after 20 years, with a team where you’ve been so successful and go to a new team, a new city, a new state during a pandemic, where you have a shortened offseason and different rules and sort of get the same results. Coming back to a Super Bowl, at 43, yeah, that’s so awesome. It was hard to think this was going to be possible. He obviously has a special demeanor and a special ability to get guys to rally around him. ”

Even if he couldn’t do it against the Giants.
