Elizabeth Olsen couldn’t escape the weight of her twin sisters’ names, but she found a way to forge her own path.
The 32-year-old WandaVision the actress adorns the second digital cover for Grace United StatesThe issue of New York Fashion Week where she talked about living under the shadow of her famous sisters Mary-Kate and Ashley.
“Nepotism is one thing and I’m very aware of it,” said Elizabeth, being aware of the fame and influence of her sisters when she began auditioning in Hollywood.
The actress added, “And of course, I always wanted to do it on my own.”

While Elizabeth eventually forged her own career with leading roles in The Avengers and the Disney + series WandaVision, she admitted to having always liked the style of her big sisters.
In January, the actress said she still wanted the same clothes as her sisters.

“Everything my sisters have worn in my entire life, I’ve always wanted to wear as an adult. I want their coats. I want their shoes. I want their dresses, ”she admitted. “And that’s something I never grew up on.”
The actress explained that she constantly goes to thrift stores to try and find clothes similar to her sisters, both 34.
“And during that time, I was going through all the second-hand stores myself and wearing everything, everything except mine looked more like Annie Hall-y,” she said during the ‘an interview on SiriusXM’s Jess Cagle Show.

Still, Elizabeth said there were a lot of things that made her feel unique from her sisters, for example, her love for the theater.
“My sisters didn’t like being like theater. They didn’t like live audiences. They were pretty shy and that made them nervous,” she explained.
“I was the one who made everyone come and see me play a musical that we did in two weeks and they were to see three every summer,” Elizabeth continued. “They have to go to every dance performance … I’ve always loved theater, dancing and singing.”
