Ellen DeGeneres and his wife Portia de Rossi drove along the coast on Saturday for a shopping spree in Santa Barbara, California.
The 62-year-old actress was seen outside a Wendy Foster store as she and Portia loaded their car with their purchases.
The two were out and about a day after the daytime show host was slammed on social media with clips and stills from a controversial interview she had conducted with Dakota Johnson a year earlier .

Ellen was dressed for extra comfort in a black T-shirt and a pair of dark jeans, which she lightened with white sneakers.
Portia, 47, went for a more haute couture look with a striking beige jumpsuit and gray boots.
She wore an olive colored scarf around her throat and she carried a beige handbag that matched her ensemble.
The couple appeared to stock up on household goods, as Ellen was also carrying what looked like a bag of blankets.

Ellen and Portia have kept a low profile in recent months, following allegations by employees that the talk show host has fostered a toxic workplace for years.
A June Buzzfeed talk shared claims from one current employee and 10 former employees that they had been subjected to racism and bullying tactics while working on the popular series.
Its producers, including Andy Lassner, Mary Connelly and Ed Glavin, have also been charged with bullying.
Glavin, executive producer Kevin Leman and co-executive producer Jonathan Norman were subsequently charged with several forms of sexual misconduct, and all three were fired, although they denied the allegations.
Ellen’s alleged transgressions were less serious, although she was accused of enjoying making employees cry, and several former employees claimed on social media that staff members were instructed not to let her talk or look her in the eye.

But her controversies were at the center of concern again on Friday, when several social media users shared images and videos of Dakota Johnson’s appearance on The Ellen DeGeneres Show exactly a year earlier.
