Ellie Goulding Joins Mark Ronson and Diplo on New Song: Watch Video

Silk City – the duo of Mark Ronson and Diplo – shared a new track with Ellie Goulding. “New Love” arrives with a playful music video directed by Anna Sting. Watch Goulding perform at a bustling nightclub in the clip below.

‘New Love’ marks Silk City’s first release since 2018. “I’m always excited to be back in the studio with Mark,” Diplo said in a press release. “We’ve been constantly exchanging ideas since the launch of Silk City and have finally found the time to bring some of them to life. We released this classic house record and Ellie was kind enough to lend it her voice.

“I love the music that comes out when Wes and I meet,” Ronson said. “It’s a joy unlike anything I’ve worked on. I’ve known Ellie for over ten years, and it’s great to finally be able to do something together. Her voice has such a pure tone that runs through everything.

Of the collaboration, Goulding added:

I’ve known Mark and Wes for years and it just felt like doing a track together, at a time when we all need to dance and be free, even if it’s only in our kitchens. The song is about getting lost alone, not needing to be seen, knowing that the one who escaped could be as happy as this one. The main concept is to dance alone without needing to be seen.

Ellie Goulding released her fourth studio album Brightest blue Last year. He followed the years 2015 Delirium.
