After being fought to turn her Tesla on Wednesday, singer Sheryl Crow has addressed nearly 320,000 followers on Twitter for help. A supporter, in particular, has rushed to save the day.

"Help! Who knows what to do when your @Tesla screen turns black and the reset does not work? Flip it over and get your money back ??" Crow asked, revealing that she was stuck in a parking lot at that time.

More than 5,600 fans responded to Crow's tweet and submitted dozens of suggestions – but no one knows how to compare it to Elon Musk, Tesla's CEO.

Musk responded with simple instructions: "Change your screen preferences from night mode to automatic mode."

"The night mode with a brightness of 0% is actually too dark during the day," he added. "It's ultimately our fault, we will update our software so that the 0% brightness is still usable in relation to the ambient conditions."

A Twitter user then pointed out to Musk that a reset should have solved the problem. Musk said that he had "agreed" that this should have been the case.

The 57-year-old campaign crooner thanked Musk for congratulating him for his help.

"Problem solved with this solution after accessing @Tesla." Can I suggest adding screen controls to the application so that you do not get stuck when the screen goes black? ? " Crow wrote to Musk.

She then confirmed to her subscribers that her problem was resolved and thanked everyone for agreeing to make suggestions.

LOVED all your creative responses The best was to suggest to my children to take a look … which would have been useful since my child was the one who had changed the settings / caused the blackening! that I should have interrupted school … "replied Crow. "Also, for the enemies: I like my @Tesla and I have very few problems.I had the basic model, nothing extraordinary, and it was cheaper than my minivan! "

Nearly 20,000 people appreciated Musk's advice for Crow, although some wondered if he was quick to respond because of Crow's fame.

"Only for famous people," replied a fan, although a woman later claimed to have seen "respond and help people, famous or not."

"He obviously can not do it for everyone, he is human (to our knowledge) but he does it surprisingly a lot," the woman continued.

"Hahahahaha, it's amazing! I bet you did not think Elon was going to answer directly!" another user wrote.

"It's like the top of customer service," observed one follower.

Musk is currently under fire for allegedly violating an agreement with the US Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) when he tweeted about Tesla's production of vehicles in February without the approval of a lawyer. A federal judge will hear arguments on Thursday over whether Tesla's CEO, Elon Musk, should be found guilty of contempt of court.

It is not known if Musk intends to attend the hearing. Musk said his tweet did not need to be approved before, as it was not new information that would make sense to investors. His lawyers say the SEC is breaking its first amendment, the right to freedom of expression.

Tesla shares fell 9% early in the session after the company said it sold 77,100 vehicles in the first quarter, well below the pace it needs to maintain to meet the commitment of Musk to make 500,000 cars a year. At Wednesday's close, Tesla shares were down 12.3% since the beginning of the year.
