Elon Musk, CEO of SpaceX, introduced us for the first time the company's Starship Raptor flight engine.

Students and teachers at Doyle-Rider Elementary School in Flint had a surprise on Friday: a visit from Tesla and SpaceX CEO Elon Musk.

According to the WSMH-TV, Musk reportedly participated in an assembly bringing together a group of sixth- and seventh-grade students from seven district primary schools. He shared anecdotes about his childhood and his business plans, including the failures of his Rocket for SpaceX.

Near the end of his presentation, Musk, along with Flint School Principal Derrick Lopez, announced that all students attending the meeting would receive a laptop. Musk will also send two students from each elementary school to the SpaceX plant in California.

The contractor's visit is the latest in Musk's commitment to help Flint's citizens.

In December, Musk donated $ 423,000 to pay for the seventh and eighth year Chromebook laptops in Flint School District.

Then, in October, Musk announced that he would pay for new water stations and water filtration for the school district.
