The odd week of Tesla's CEO, Elon Musk, on Twitter took another turn Tuesday night.
Just after tweeting that "some news from Tesla"would be announced Thursday at 2 pm Pacific time, the billionaire changed his name to" Elon Tusk "and added an elephant emoji in the end.
Musk began its week by accusing the Securities and Exchange Commission on Monday night of violating its $ 20-million deal that a supervised securities lawyer would monitor tweets that could affect the price of Tesla shares.
The stock market regulator alleges that Musk potentially misled investors last week, when he tweeted that Tesla would produce 500,000 vehicles this year. He then corrected and said it would only be around 400,000.

Elon Tusk memes were already popular on sites such as Reddit, where members of the fandom group that Musk had assembled had already invented their own version of his name. Elon Tusk gained popularity about a week ago, alongside classics like "Elongated Muskrat".
It may also be a reference to cryptocurrency accounts from the cam that would try to mimic Musk's verified account – one of them calling Elon Tusk – for coins to those who are being fooled Eventually, this caused a tweet from Musk himself.
