The latest episode of HBO's Game of Thrones, titled The Long Night, featured the biggest battle scene in the series, but also never seen on big or small screens. Nevertheless, it did not please everyone. Many people thought that the disappearance of Night King was too anti-culminating.
Emilia Clarke, who plays Daenerys Targaryen in the series, says the next three episodes will be even bigger than that. She told Jimmy Kimmel on her show Jimmy Kimmel Live:[The next episodes] are going to be mental, teased Clarke. "The fifth episode is bigger. The episode five is ahhhh. I mean four and five and six, they're all crazy, but … "
"Find the biggest TV possible," she added, while refusing to divulge details of the plot.
After the Night King threat is over, the protagonists turn to Cersei, who has beefed up his army with the elite mercenary force called the Gold Company. There is certainly going to be a conflict between Jon Snow and Daenerys Targaryen about his true lineage.
Kit Harington told Entertainment Weekly that the fourth episode of the season was one of his favorites. He said: "One of my favorite episodes is 4 because the characters apparently got what they needed," says Harington about the 20 or so main characters still gathered at Winterfell. "The world is safe now. They celebrate and say goodbye to lost friends. But as an audience, you go, "It's only episode 4, something's going to happen", and it's cool, because I think the characters are also aware of it. There is something twisted and uncomfortable about it. It's so Shakespearean.
Could the twist be on the conflict between Daenerys and Jon?
