The coffee cup that Clutch originally held was perhaps a reference when "Thrones" fans noticed a cup of coffee lost during the festive scene of season 8, episode 4. You could see the sitting object next to Clarke's character. HBO subsequently treated the gaffe as an "error" and digitally removed it from the streaming of the episode.
The sweet moment between the mascot and Clarke quickly became viral and many social media users turned to Twitter to express their fun during the exchange.
