Model and actress Emily Ratajkowski claimed in her new book that she was groped in 2013 by singer Robin Thicke while filming the hit song Blurred Lines, according to London’s Sunday Times.

In Ratajkowski’s next book – “My Body,” due for release on November 9 – she claims that Thicke grabbed her topless breasts while filming the clip.

“Suddenly, out of nowhere, I felt the coolness and strangeness of a stranger’s hands cupping my topless breasts from behind,” she wrote, according to The Times. “I instinctively walked away looking at Robin Thicke.”

“He gave an awkward smile and stumbled back, his eyes hidden behind his sunglasses. My head turned to the darkness beyond the scenery.” The model wrote that the director, Diane Martel, had shouted at him asking “Are you okay?”

Diane Martel directed the video and corroborated Ratajkowski’s allegations to The Times. “I remember the moment he grabbed her breasts,” she told The Times. “One in each hand. He was standing behind her as they were both in profile.”

“I pushed my chin forward and shrugged, avoiding eye contact, feeling the warmth of humiliation spread through my body,” Ratajkowski wrote. “I didn’t react – not really, not like I should have.”

Martel told The Times the singer had been drinking and apologized after the incident. She told the newspaper that she took steps to make sure women feel comfortable on set.

“Robin apologized sheepishly,” said Martel. “As if he knew it was wrong without realizing how it might have felt for Emily.”

Ratajkowski has never written about the incident before and says she remembered what happened years later when she noticed Thicke had blocked her on Instagram.

The 30-year-old model’s book will contain essays that chronicle moments in Ratajkowski’s life while exploring topics of “feminism, sexuality and power, the treatment of women by men and the justifications of women for accepting this treatment. According to a description by the publisher of the book.

Thicke has yet to publicly respond to Ratajkowski’s claims. CBS News has reached out to its representatives for comment.
