Her palms weren’t sweaty, her knees weak, her arms weren’t heavy. There isn’t any vomit on her sweater already, but there was mom’s spaghetti.

Eminem delighted fans after making a surprise change at his Detroit restaurant, “Mom’s Spaghetti”. The restaurant, named after an iconic barf-related line from his hit song “Lose Yourself,” celebrated its grand opening on Wednesday, September 29.

Rapper “Without Me” – real name Marshall Mathers – spent several minutes working on the window of the pasta store.

During his brief culinary appearance, the 48-year-old Motor City native treated the top 10 customers in a seemingly endless line with cartons of takeout spaghetti and even selfies, according to the Detroit Free Press, which portray the singer “Stan” in the hoodie seems somewhat indifferent. Some Slim Shady supporters had been camping since the morning ahead of the official opening of Mom’s Spaghetti at 5 p.m.

Em’s stint serving spaghetti ended with the “8 Mile” star and his entourage rushing into a pair of SUVs, as hordes of fans chasing them “Beatlemania” down the street , according to the Detroit Free Press.

Located at 2131 Woodward Ave., the ‘limited seating’ restaurant serves a range of Spartan dishes: Maman’s Spaghetti for $ 9, Mom’s Spaghetti with Meatballs for $ 12 and a ‘Sghetti Sandwich – pasta with two slices of bread – for $ 11, from the noodle seller’s website. Meanwhile, vegans can get the spaghetti with “bunny balls,” black bean orbs, quinoa, and sweet peppers for $ 14.

Mom’s Spaghetti started out as a pop-up store at The Shelter Concert Hall in Detroit in 2017, and has since made intermittent appearances at concerts hosted by Eminem. During the coronavirus pandemic, Mathers offered Detroit healthcare workers containers of his famous pasta.

“The previous pop-ups were really a test for us to determine if there was enthusiasm for a mom’s spaghetti spot that would be open year round,” Eminem manager Paul Rosenberg said, in a press release before the opening.

After eating at Mom’s Spaghetti, fans can go upstairs for “the trailer”. Billed as ‘A Store for Stans’, another slang term based on the enthusiastic fans born of the Slim Shady hit ‘Stan’, the adjoining store features merchandise and memorabilia inspired by the rapper’s ‘8 Mile’ character, B- Rabbit.
