Eminem’s restaurant, called Mom’s Spaghetti, will open a permanent brick and mortar location on Woodward across from Comerica Park. The place is in the newly opened Union Assembly restaurant on the ground floor of Little Caesars World Headquarters.
Mom’s Spaghetti is slated for Wednesday at 5 p.m., according to a press release on eminem.com. The location is 2131 Woodward Ave. Part of the project is a retail store called The Trailer above the pasta operation.
The project is a partnership with Union Joints Restaurant Group, co-owned by Curt Catallo, his wife, Ann Stevenson, and managing partner Erich Lines.

Union Joints also has long-standing suburban restaurants, Clarkston Union, Union Woodshop, Vinsetta Garage and more.
The restaurant will be a walk-in window and The Trailer is the upstairs retail store within Union Assembly.
The concept of Mom’s Spaghetti centers around the Detroit rapper’s lyrics to “Lose Yourself”.
The restaurant menu is simple with just three items. There is a plate of Mom’s Spaghetti for $ 9 or $ 12 if you add meatballs. The Sghetti sandwich costs $ 11. Drinks are $ 4.
Mom’s Spaghetti first launched as a pasta pop-up in 2017 at The Shelter in Detroit. It was part of the release of “Revival” by Eminem. Union Joints also worked on This Mom’s Spaghetti Project, according to the press release.
“We had a lot of fun putting this project together with the folks at Union Joints, and the response from the fans has been overwhelmingly positive,” Eminem manager Paul Rosenberg said in a statement. “The previous pop-ups were really a test for us to see if there was any enthusiasm for a mom’s spaghetti spot that would perform regularly and be open year round.”
During the pandemic, Shady Records, Eminem’s record company, contracted with Union Joints to deliver Mom’s Spaghetti to frontline workers and those administering vaccinations at the TCF Center in Detroit.
“The opportunity to build a permanent location based on an incredibly meta-benchmark was one that everyone at Union Joints, as a Metro Detroit restaurant group, took very seriously,” Catallo said. “We’re proud to have created a scratch sauce that tastes like straight out of the pot, and woking the noodles gives it that leftover pasta. “
TV teasers swirled last week, suggesting the opening of a permanent Mom’s Spaghetti in Detroit, possibly next to the Union Assembly. The space is called “small bodega” within the Assembly of the Union.
The Trailer, the retail space above Mom’s Spaghetti, is a nod to B. Rabbit’s 8 Mile trailer. There will be Mom’s Spaghetti products for sale, as well as items from Eminem’s retail collection, including limited editions and memorabilia from the Eminem archives.

Catallo described The Trailer as “something that belongs to Detroit, and it feels good in this space.” It is described as a small space and will be limited to eight clients, or “Stans”, at a time.
