Eminem (Not-So) Surprise-Drops New album

Eminem has “dropped” so many albums in recent years that the arrival of a rumor has become the official announcement. And of course, a few days after very detailed rumors erupted about the imminent release of a follow-up to his latest surprise album, “Music to Get Murdered By,” it happened. Collaborators include Dr. Dre (rapping on “Guns Blazing” and co-producing “Discombobulated”), Ty Dolla $ ign, DJ Premier and Skylar Gray.

“Side B” comes 11 months after Eminem’s surprise release “Music to Be Murdered By” (featuring guest spots from Juice WRLD, Ed Sheeran, Young MA, Anderson .Paak and the production of Dr Dre.), Which has followed by the surprise of 2018- dropped “Kamikaze”.

After a surprise performance at the Oscars in February – 17 years after winning the Oscar for Best Song for “Lose Yourself” – Eminem returned to the radar two weekends ago with an appearance in an SNL skit spoofing his song 2000’s disturbed superfan “Stan”, who featured a star trick of Pete Davidson.

Eminem spoke with Variety about his Oscar appearance the day after his performance, but he gave no hint of a plan for a second part “murder”. “I really don’t have anything coming next, to be honest, whatever videos come in,” he says. “We haven’t written anything in stone yet.”

The 16 tracks “Music to Be Murdered By – Side B” includes 13 full songs with three skits. Based on a quick hover, it includes plenty of covid references and an incredibly fast and dense pun, even by Eminem standards (especially on “Gnat”).
