Eminem released a surprise companion LP for his 11th studio album, Music to murder, which was released in January. The Detroit rapper was mom to the new album, Music to be murdered – Side B, ahead of her arrival at midnight Thursday, despite social media speculation about her existence.
Executive produced by Eminem and Dr. Dre, the deluxe edition of the album features Skylar Gray, DJ Premier, Ty Dolla $ ign, Dr. Dre, Sly Pyper, MAJ and White Gold.
Hints of a new Eminem album began to circulate throughout the week. Among the clues was a post by Eminem collaborator Dem Jointz, who shared an Instagram photo featuring projects the producer had been working on this year, which included Side B cover art. In July, Eminem teamed up with Kid Cudi for the collaborative track “The Adventures of Moon Man and Slim Shady”. Earlier in the year, Eminem collaborated with Jessie Reyez on her song “Coffin”.
