She is now one of Hollywood’s biggest stars.

Still, Emma Stone sent him back to a more humble time of his stardom by remembering attending the Golden Globe Awards for the first time and sitting with his mother Krista next to Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt.

Emma told Jimmy, 46, “ I went with my mom. It was my first time at the Golden Globes. It was very, very, very exciting so I took my mom with me. We sat next to Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt …

“ We were like, ‘Of all the people that sit next to that kind of show, whoa. And my mom never drinks and drank champagne that night, which probably wasn’t the best idea, but she was having a wonderful time.

She then revealed that Krista started hilariously chatting with Angelina, saying: ‘[My mom] started asking Angelina Jolie like, ‘Do you have kids? And I was like, “ You must be away [of your mind].”…

“ She knew it full well, but she was having little conversations. ”How old are they? What are their names? She knew everything. But they were so nice. We had a blast. It was a really fun night, ” Emma said.

Emma also revealed that her character in her new movie The Croods: A New Age was inspired by an unlikely friends character.

She plays Eep, the adventurous member of a cave family keen to explore the world, in the upcoming film.

Emma revealed that the girl was “ a little inspired by Monica from Friends, who couldn’t be more opposed to Eep as a character. ”

“I realized that sometimes my pace would go a bit like ‘I know! She said, referring to a famous line spoken by Monica from Courteney Cox. “ When I was looking at him I was like, ‘Do I do a lot of Monica and I haven’t realized it for 10 years? ”

Emma called it “a little Easter egg that I didn’t even know I was planting”.

Working on the sequel to The Croods was a blast, she said, as her usual expressions were “ rubbery ” and “ sometimes a little too big, ” which was perfect for Eep.

“I don’t have to hold back which is fantastic,” Emma noted.

The actress voiced the first Croods in 2013, and Jimmy asked her about her breakout movie Easy A, which was filmed in 2010, saying he had recently met her on television.

This prompted Emma to show her the tattoo she got around that time.

It was two blackbird feet, inked on the inside of her left wrist, which she said were supposed to be pencil thin, but had actually grown larger and darker over time.

“It’s my time marker,” Emma moaned. “ Everyone in my family has them, and they just disappear, they’re so thin. And mine just bleed, and at 80 I’m going to have a black bar on my wrist. It’s so ridiculous how bad it gets. It’s like the rings on a tree. I now know that it has been 10 years since Easy A. ‘

Emma then shared her story of taking her mother to the 2011 Golden Globes, when she was nominated for an award for her work on Easy A.

The actress also told Jimmy that she has been trying to stay busy for the past several months, as she goes into self-quarantine to stay safe from the coronavirus.

“I started making bracelets,” she says. I did the Zoom meetings, I sleep more than usual, I eat more than usual [thing], ‘but then I started making stretch bracelets and beads. I must have sent you one.

Jimmy lifted the bracelet into his Ziploc bag, through which the words on the bracelet could be read: “Bracelet for Jimmy”.

“Just Jimmy” was boring, so this is the bracelet for you, “Emma explained, calling him” so stupid “as Jimmy put it on and complained that it cut off his circulation.

“That was the intention,” she replied. “If you need your blood drawn or whatever, you can use it as a tourniquet.
