Emma Watson’s manager denies rumors the actress is retiring

Despite the chatter online, Emma Watson is not stepping down from acting.

Rumors began to swirl Thursday morning after the Daily mail suggested the “Harry Potter” star would retire from acting in order to focus on settling down with her partner, Leo Robinton.

According to the report, “Emma Watson has gone ‘dormant’ according to her agent. It seems like a cinematic speech for she gave up on acting. ”

But according to Jason Weinberg, Watson’s manager at Untitled Entertainment, the report is simply false.

“Emma’s social media accounts are dormant, but her career is not,” he said Weekly entertainment in a report.

She was last seen onscreen in Greta Gerwig’s “Little Women” as Meg March. And although she is best known for her role in “Harry Potter” as Hermione Granger, she has received critical acclaim in Disney’s live-action “Beauty and the Beast” and “The Perks of” to be a wallflower ”.
