Studio 25 on Warner Bros Field in Burbank Plunges into Hollywood History – Casablanca, Yankee Doodle Dandy, Bonnie and Clyde, and Blade runner all shot in its walls – but on Tuesday, the sacred sound scene added a unique fade to this long legacy. The Big Bang Theory The actors, the technical team and the creative team recorded the latest scenes from their 279th episode, an hour-long link that will air on May 16 and mark the end of the 12-year-old series successful.
It was a sharp and dynamic recording that, for almost three hours, remained as usual for the team that was a scoring machine for most of its course . There were few signs, however, that emotions and tears could come off anytime. Jim Parsons, who represents Sheldon, made a vamping dance between shots, but moments later he scrutinized the front row of the audience to see if his mother was a special guest. The co-creator of the series, Chuck Lorre, with hazy eyes, went on stage to hold the clap for the final take of the final scene. Johnny Galecki was honed in his performance until he switched to an airy discussion about spending "139 hours and a half surprisingly pleasant" with the character of Parson – the joke was a relative note minor in the series but the reference had extra meaning. This is the collective screen time recorded by all episodes of the half hour of the series.

Galecki had a tight throat once again when he spoke to the studio audience, some of whom wore special T-shirts commemorating their presence at a milestone event on television. "It's a dream come true for all of us," Galecki said of the show's broadcast time, which began on September 24, 2007. Kaley Cuoco, wiping her tears, said the entire team behind The show was more like a family than colleagues. She cited Lorre's recent assessment that the series would last long after the credits of the last episode. "The Big Bang Theory will live in our hearts forever, "said Cuoco. "It's so simple and sweet, and it's so true … everyone here is involved in creating big Bang Special, all the crew. We love them all.
No spoilers here, but the episode itself was in gold. The central characters each have an important moment of life and, along the way, many surprises are to be expected (including an unexpected visitor, a huge event, a giant announcement and a major life stage). On Tuesday, during the final recording, a troupe of journalists covered the song of the swan, then a bowl of fortune cookies was placed strategically at the exit of the press. Cracked, cookies turned out to be a blinking farewell message from one of the most fortified TV channels: "If you do not believe in goodbye, there is always syndication …"

As we prepare to record our last episode tonight, coming in and out of this apartment door for the last time, it is hard to find the words to explain what a deep experience this has been. But the words "love" and "gratitude" come to mind … so love and gratitude to all of you. You all. Thank you. Oh (oh, and happy birthday to @sanctionedjohnnygalecki and @kunalkarmanayyar – talk about the good timing … that your next 12 years are as vivid and wonderful as those I've had the pleasure of knowing and working with you both ?)
