Before fans gather in theaters for the latest and probably the greatest Marvel movie Avengers: End of the game, the original cast of the Avengers team one last time (we think … no spoilers) for the premiere of the long-awaited movie in Los Angeles. And one of the most recognizable stars of the saga, Robert Downey Jr., is presented at the theater in a concept car appropriate to Iron Man himself: the new Audi E-Tron GT.
This is not the first time we see Downey with the E-Tron GT. Shortly after the launch of the concept, Downey was one of the first to drive it out of Audi (of course, everything was captured on video), and was immediately overtaken by the sleek design of the E-Tron GT. But he will have even more time with the concept Avengers: End of the gameTony Stark replaces his iconic R8 with an electric sedan.
The car itself is far from science fiction. Audi unveiled the E-Tron GT last year at the show Los Angeles Auto Show with a battery of 90 kilowatt hours and a power of 582 horses (434 kilowatts). With its fast charge (from zero to 80% in 20 minutes) and its wireless charging capacity (11 kilowatts), Audi gives the E-Tron GT an estimated range of 400 km on the WLTP test cycle.
This is not just about the range, though. Thanks to the two-engine all-wheel drive (PMSM) and the torque vectoring, the E-Tron GT can reach 100 km / h in 100 seconds (3.5 km), in 200 seconds (124 km / h) in one little more than 12 seconds and continue a top speed of 240 km / h (149 mph).
That said, the E-Tron GT is the ideal car for Tony Stark. It has all the technologies you expect and equivalent performance. We are expecting a lot of other Audi vehicles Avengers: End of the game, as well; the company just published an advertisement with Tony Stark teaching Captain Marvel on modern technology and showing the new E-Tron Crossing In the process.
