3Five people were arrested and huge amounts of narcotics were seized as part of the largest operation of its kind in Virginia for more than 15 years.
The police seized more than 30 kilograms of fentanyl, 30 kilograms of heroin and five kilograms of cocaine, after dismantling a network of drug traffickers covering three states. In addition to drugs, $ 700,000 was recovered, along with 24 firearms, according to CBS.

"The last thing we want is for the US postal service to become the country's biggest drug trafficker," Terwilliger said.
Terwilliger emphasized the magnitude of the bust.
"We are not talking about $ 500 or $ 600, we are talking about hundreds of thousands of dollars," he said. "You know, $ 20,000 in the trunk of someone's car in a gym bag, you know, behind a local restaurant."
Despite the 35 arrests, four people in the drug trafficking network are still fugitives. Hampton police chief Terry Sult said the news of the bust should serve as a warning to other dealers. He said the authorities are "implacable".
"If you are using firearms, you are trafficking drugs and you are hurting people in our communities, that is the group of people who are picking on you," Sult said.
