The multi-week Epic Games Store promotion, which saw 15 free games distributed in total, finally comes to an end today, but the storefront has one more final giveaway in tow. Fortunately, today’s free tier is a little different from all the others and won’t require you to act so quickly.
Evolution of the Jurassic World is the latest game Epic Games has made available for free on its storefront to close out 2020. The title, first released in 2018, is obviously based on the iconic movie franchise and sees players building their own theme park from dinosaurs. Evolution of the Jurassic World allows you to create your own unique species of dinosaurs in addition to overcoming a variety of traps that may arise in your park. It is Jurassic world after all, not everything will work as expected.
We were so concerned about whether or not we could give away 15 games in 15 days, we didn’t stop to think if we should… but we hope you enjoyed your freebies!
Jurassic World Evolution is the last to unbox, free until January 7.

This expansion of game availability actually allows the Epic Games Store to get back to its usual stream from here on out. If you don’t know how the storefront works, Epic offers a free game on its platform every week of the year. While Evolution of the Jurassic World is the first game given for the 2020 kickoff, January 7 will see Suns crying taking its place.
While this event is now officially over, the current Epic Game Store sale has not been. The Marketplace Holiday Sale, which features discounts of up to 75%, will continue for another week and also end on January 7.
