There was a lot of controversy around the penultimate episode of Game of thrones. Apart from the narrative aspects of the slice, entitled "The Bells", this is perhaps one of the most important episodes of the series to date. Not only did this highlight the end of Cersei Lannister's reign (Lena Headey) at King's Landing, but it also showed that Daenerys Targaryen (Emilia Clarke) was completely losing her temper and turning into a crazy queen.
Although many fans have been disappointed by the narrative arc of Daenerys, it is undeniable that the episode included a surprising cinematography. Watching Drogon destroy King's Landing was both terrifying and enjoyable to watch. But in the midst of immense destruction, fans have probably missed some important foreshadows related to Daenerys and Arya Stark (Maisie Williams).
The scenario of the mad queen of Daenerys has been announced
For most fans, watch Daenerys kill innocent women and children
in the episode last week is apparently out of nowhere. It turns out that Daenerys
does not have the same hold on her temperament as we had previously thought, and she
shares more traits with Aerys Targaryen, the original mad king, than Rhaegar
Targaryen.
Even so, the idea that she would completely burn King's
Land just because she lost another dragon and that her right hand adviser seemed
a little in a hurry. But there have been a few times where this end has been announced
on the show.
Back in season 2, Daenerys had a vision of the future by tracking his three dragons to Qarth. In his vision, Daenerys crossed a destroyed red dungeon covered with a thin layer of snow.
In hindsight, however, it may be best to interpret the white
particles in the form of ash, despite the fact that it was definitely snow. According to CNET,
Bran had a similar vision in season 5, although his added a dragon shadow
flying.
Arya gets a closure
The scene between Arya and The Hound (Rory McCann), aka Sandor
Clegane, had recalls on several levels. For starters, the dog is convinced
Arya will leave town just before entering the red dungeon to kill him
brother. Arya is desperate for revenge, but The Hound forces him to say that
she will die if she continues with him.
When Arya withdraws from certain death, she turns around and tells Sandor:
"Thank you," which is very similar to what Bran told Theon Greyjoy
just before the king of the night finished his life.
On another level, the dog's speech to Arya was a clear reminder
to what he said to Sansa Stark (Sophie Turner) in season 2. Fans will remember,
The Hound tried to convince Sansa to leave King's Landing with him during
Stannis forces were about to loot the city.
Sansa finally decided to stay and try her luck with
Stannis. Things did not go well for Sansa, but as she said so well
season, she would not have become a strong leader if it was not the
essays that she has lived.
Will Arya kill Daenerys?
There is no doubt that Daenerys will be held accountable for killing so many innocent women and children during the Battle of King's Landing. The main theory so far is that Jon Snow (Harington Kit) will be the first to defeat Daenerys, although another fan theory argues that Arya will be the one who will give the coup de grace. Arya was in the front row of the destruction at King's Landing and watched Daenerys cremate a mother and her child she was helping to escape.
Arya was stunned by rubble at some point in the
battle. When she woke up, the only thing she could find was still alive
was a white horse. The fans theorize that the horse is a symbol of death and
means that Arya will be the person who will remove Daenerys from the iron throne. he
is quite possible that Arya is seeking revenge for what has happened and, given
her talents, she is likely to succeed. What happens after, however, is
whoever guesses.
The last episode of Game of thrones tunes Sunday night
HBO.
