The “Real Housewives of Beverly Hills” star and her lawyer husband are taken to court by law firm Edelson, which is suing him for allegedly embezzling money from a settlement intended to compensate families of victims of the Lion Air flight 610 crash.
According to the lawsuit, obtained by TMZ, Edelson – who also represented the plaintiffs in the Lion Air litigation – claims that Tom used the settlement money to finance his “scandalous lifestyle” with Erika.
Edelson claims Girardi also needed the money to help keep his own law firm afloat, saying he was in financial jeopardy due to various loans.
And then there’s that … Edelson also claims Erika filed for divorce Tom to help her hide property, claiming that he thinks the November divorce is nothing more than a sham.
We have contacted Erika … so far no word in return.
