In a game with 80 characters on its roster, whoever loses only 10 more is an absolute beast. According to PG | ESAM, this is Min-Min’s current status in Super Smash Bros. Ultimate.
The Community character recently posted a correspondence table for the ARMS guest, and if he’s right in his analysis here, Min Min is an uphill battle for the vast majority of characters in Ultimate.
The high-profile fighter even goes with just five characters, and then has the edge over a whopping 63 roster members beyond. Nine of those matches, many of Ultimate’s bigger avatars, will lose to Min Min more than 60% of the time according to the table.
The timing of putting that particular figure under the microscope is appropriate as Min Min is getting a bit of attention right now, especially in Japan. We recently published a story regarding his rapid rise to become the most hated character in the Japanese Smash scene as his relatively straightforward “0 to death” streak and strong battlespace control skills become major annoyances.
While we only have the image at the moment, ESAM notes in its tweet that more detailed explanations of its choices will be on its YouTube channel in the next week.
