ESPN deserves applause for reacting quickly to fans' complaints about their new "Monday Night Football" graphics and making changes to them.
During the first half of the Houston Texans-New Orleans Saints game, ESPN offered a graphics package with the graph at the bottom and in the highlighted distance in fluorescent yellow / green. The result was that the fans were confused, constantly thinking that there was a punishment flag on each game, because television graphics often showed a yellow graphic to indicate the penalties on the games.
It did not take long for the network to adjust. ESPN's Adam Schefter said before the start of the second half that the network had changed charts after hearing the fans' negative comments.
