Ethan Happ was not on the list of 66 players invited to the NBA selection on Wednesday, but the basketball former basketball player at the former University of Wisconsin will still have the opportunity to showcase his talents in front of NBA staff .

Happ was one of the 80 players invited to the NBA G League's elite camp, which will run from Sunday to Tuesday in Chicago. This list includes 40 NBA hopefuls and 40 top prospects in the NBA G League for the 2018-19 season.

The draft NBA, a six-day event also held in Chicago, will begin Tuesday. Seven Big Ten players have been invited to combine this, but Happ is not among them. Jordan Poole, from Milwaukee, and two of his Michigan teammates, Ignas Brazdeikis and Charles Matthews; Carsen Edwards of Purdue; Bruno Fernando of Maryland; Indiana, Romeo Langford; and Isaiah Roby from Nebraska.

Happ was a second-team consensual team in his last season with the Badgers. He averaged 17.3 points, 10.1 rebounds and 4.5 assists, while becoming the first player in the history of the program to win the All-Big Ten trophy of the first team three times during his career. He was also named winner of the Kareem Abdul-Jabbar Award, awarded to the country's highest center.

Happ ended his career at UW as the absolute leader of the rebound program (1,217) and in blocks (154). He was second in interceptions (217) and third in points (2,130) and assists (423).

The NBA project will take place on June 20th.
