One Property Brothers Episode, they had to give up the mid-production

HGTV Property Brothers Drew and Jonathan Scott handled some hard work, and they managed to complete almost every one of them. In fact, there was only one time that the Brothers had to raise their hands and leave a job at mid-production, and all thanks to a very uncooperative owner who did not want to settle correctly a very serious problem.

The building and filming started smoothly, although, as is the case with 99% of the home improvement shows, there was an unexpected problem. The Property Brothers approached the landlord about a problem that involved the house and several others next to it moving due to poor soil. Drew and Jonathan learned that the house was built on a landfill, which is why the living room was level at one end of the house and about four and a half feet higher on the other. The brothers tried to explain just how serious the problem was for the owner, but Drew Scott told reporters during the TCA's summer press tour (via TV Guide) that the owner did not have to worry about it.

Drew Scott explained that the owner asked was illegal, and possibly dangerous for anyone living in the house. Regulatory committees that often review home renovations are often in tune with regulatory committees that want to ensure that labor standards are met, and a program may be fined for doing nothing by book. Obviously, it was one of those times, and with the Property Brothers team that did not want to honor the owner's request to "equalize" them, they wanted to work in search of another solution

. the situation was deadlock between Property Brothers and the landlord came when a fair piece of filming for the episode was already accomplished. Leaving the project meant that the team should scrap many footage already filmed for the episode, which included the owner and his fellow firefighters demolishing the house before the renovation. Jonathan Scott said the pictures could have been the badiest episode of the duo to date, but Brother Drew said the pictures were not enticing enough to break the law and complete the house: 19659005] Property Brothers airs new episodes on HGTV Wednesdays at 9:00 pm ET.
